Dallas is a sweet, one-of-a-kind, in-your-pocket type of a
horse. His only goal in life is to please you. He is a 6-year-old,
15.2 hand draft-cross gelding. He has been an incredibly easy
horse to put through our program and absolutely loves to
learn new things. He has a wonderful, laid-back personality that just melts
your heart when you come to the barn to meet him. Dallas is very well
trained to drive as he is to ride. He can be driven in all types of terrain and
does not get bothered by traffi c at all. Dallas has been on lots of different
types of trail rides and does not mind to be the leader or he does not mind
to follow as well. He can be ridden off alone without a fuss. This guy has
been a steady mount for anyone of any level of riding and if you are some-
one that needs to gain some confi dence back, he would love to help you to
do that. With all the miles of trails, and different places he has been, he will
settle in with ease no matter where you take him. He is great on the trailer,
stands quiet single tied or in the cross ties. He has been kept out in the
fi eld and also in the stall and does not have any bad habits. He will come
right to you when you call, and is not a bully in the pasture at all. He minds
his own when with a herd of horses. Dallas is wearing shoes all around
because of where we ride him, and he does great for the farrier and for the
vet as well. We have taken him through the obstacles on the trail and in the
ring and he does not seem to blink an eye to anything new at all. He can be
ridden English or western and even has a nice turnaround with a neck rein
as well. He has three very smooth, easy-to-ride gaits. He will walk, jog and
canter and knows his leads well. He even goes bareback and brideless and
is very comfortable to ride. He has been one of the favorites in the barn,
and does not mind all the attention or he does not get upset if left to sit for
a while. With his great size, he would work for all different ages and sizes
of riders and with his kind, willing mind he is also wonderful for different
levels of riders too. He has been trailered on lots of different trailers, and
will jump right up onto anything. He is a great horse for you to add to your
