Higher Level, aka Pumba, is a 2013 model, gentle, 17 hand,
black gelding. We have done almost everything on him from
roping and doctoring cattle out on wheat pasture to running barrels. Pumba handles whatev-
er is thrown at him with a great attitude and willingness to work. No matter how long a day
he must work he’s always ready to load in the trailer and go again. He is the epitome of an in-your-pocket
horse. Pumba loves attention and to be loved on and groomed. While he is always looking for attention, he
has great respect for anyone handling him. I’m small at 5’2’’ so getting on him is not a simple feat; I have
t taught him to stand next to any and everything available. He is also patient while I clamber on if no extra lift
is available. Pumba has ridden pens in a feedlot, drug a calf dummy for the breakaway ropers, gathered big
pastures, sorted cows, drug cattle in the trailer, roped cows, won money running barrels. In short, if I had to
get something done, I knew I could do it on him. Although he is astoundingly big at 17 hands he identifi es as
a little horse and is quick-footed and agile. Pumba collects and lopes in a small circle as well as stretches out

Rookie is a gentle , well-trained ranch horse! We have been
using Rookie for all ranch tasks from branding to weaning and
everything in between. Rookie is the type of horse we would put any level of rider on and not
have to worry! Rookie is fancy broke. He will ride and slide and walk off with a loose rein. He
doesn’t get stirred up! Rookie is a pleasure to ride outside by yourself. He doesn’t have to have a crowd to
be enjoyed! We have hauled Rookie to numerous ranch rodeos and put him in situations to where he has
had to see all of the bright lights and new sights. Rookie is ate up with cow! He will not let one by when you
are sorting on him. We have also been roping on Rookie in the arena! Rookie is a very well-rounded horse
that you will fall in love with! Rookie will cross water with ease and is never hesitate about anything we put
in front of him to accomplish. Rookie is by one of our favorite ranch studs, Sportin High Brow. Sportin High
Brow won $13,000 NCHA before he was injured and purchased by Jim Roundsville. Since being injured
Sportin High Brow has produced some of the best ranch horses in West Texas in my opinion. It takes a
special kind of horse to hold up to the ranch demands found in our area. We are proud of every Sportin High Brow horse we have owned. Rookie is a
very well-rounded gelding that we hope makes someone else proud to own him. We invite you to come to our place and try Rookie out for yourself. It
