Switch is an exceptional, eye catching gelding. Everyone that walks
on the property always wants to know what his story is and whether
he is available. He’s 15HH, 12-years-old, and in great shape. He’s
won over $13,200 in the NRCHA and is extremely solid and talented
on a cow and in the reining maneuvers. He’s been shown in the
Ranch Versatility and excels in all disciplines; winning the Ranch Riding, Trail,
Reining, Cutting, Rail, Cow Horse, and Conformation. He has a nice jog trot and an
exceptional long trot; just push your hand forward and he extends beautifully and
honestly. He’s been used to steer stop on and drags his butt when asked. With his
smooth canter and soft mouth he’s always a pleasure to ride. He’s been trail ridden
through creeks and ponds and never hesitates. Open and close gates, ride in the
pasture, gather cattle; this boy will do anything you ask with a willing and capable
attitude. His stops and spins are novice friendly and with lots of experience in the
show pen he’s a great teacher. He’s one I trusted enough to continue to ride throughout my pregnancy including in these
videos. He’s consistent, sound, and honest. He is a quick mover and extremely sensitive; just look and point and he will go.
Quiet lead changes, good departures, and solid transitions both up and down make him a joy to ride. He has one small scar
above his tail from when he was younger, it’s just cosmetic and looks like a small bit of roughed up hair. Switch is by Dun It
Big who is an own son of Hollywood Dun It (LTE of over $115,000). This great sire was the 2008 AQHA World Champion Senior Heeling, 2003 NRCHA Open Hack-g who is an own son of Hollywood
