SPOTTED DRAFT HORSE X AMERICAN QUARTER HORSE
Sometimes in life a special horse comes into your program and
Buckeyes Tucker just happens to be one of those horses. He is a 15.2HH Draft
Cross gelding out of a Spotted Draft stallion and a Quarter Horse mare. If a dream
horse is what you are looking for, then he just may be your guy. He really has
one of the sweetest, most kind personalities around. He can be ridden English or
Western and has a fantastic neck rein. No matter who we have put on his back,
he has taken care of them. Tucker has been on numerous trail rides and overnight
trips. Stood tied to a picket line or a trailer and he never makes a noise or messes
with the other horses. He has awesome ground manners and will stand tied quietly
no matter where you tie him. He has been out with lots of different horses and
never tries to be the boss horse. In the stall he does not have any bad habits and
you never hear anything from him at feeding time. Tucker will hop into any trailer
and haul quietly down the road. He is a horse that no matter how little or how often
you ride him he is always the same when you get him out. He knows his leads and
moves great off your seat and leg pressure. His gaits are extra smooth making it
easy to take him on long trail rides without worrying you will get too sore. Tucker
will go through water, over bridges, and is a gem in heavy traffi c. Tucker is also a
very fun and easy going driving horse! He will go down the road at a nice steady
pace and is great for the fi rst time driver. There is nothing that excites this boy and
we feel that Tucker would fi t into almost any program. If you would like to learn
