Smooth Lil Ricochet is a 2015 AQHA bay rabicano gelding that we
have owned since he was a yearling. He is 14.2HH tall and weighs
1100 lbs. He is STOUT with a good wither on him. Ricochet has a
phenomenal personality, is well-versed in every aspect of ranching,
has experienced success in the show pen, and is backed by an
excellent pedigree. Ricochet is a fun and fl ashy gelding. He is kind, easy to catch,
gentle and has a personable attitude that makes every day on the ranch, show pen,
or trail a day worthwhile. He is a character and is always in your back pocket. He
will be your best friend while being your hardest worker at the same time. He is
ridden by three different people in our family. This horse is extremely gentle and
has mastered every obstacle on the trail. Ricochet is the ultimate cow hand. He
has been used to night calve, pair out, doctor calves, wean calves, sort in an alley,
work a tub and at brandings. He has no problem riding off in the middle of a snow-
storm and loping away from the barn to bring home a chilled calf on a sled. Or,
grab a fl ashlight, slip on a pair of muck boots, and get a calving heifer in the barn.
He is cowy and has natural, smooth, cow sense. Ricochet has excelled in the show
pen with limited hauling. He won nearly $600 at his fi rst show and will be shown
throughout the summer and fall at ranch horse competitions by both open and
novice riders. We have been breakawaying on him and will continue to do so until the sale date. SMOOTH LIL RICOCHET is an
own son of REAL SMOOTH CAT, an earner of $33,697 and 91 AQHA Points. His grandsire, SMOOTH AS A CAT is an earner of
$501,874 and has too many titles to list. His granddam, LIL PRETTY RICHOCHET, has an LTE of $119,949. His bloodlines run
