Introducing the gelding you will compare them all to. RT Metallic
Prime is a 2016 red roan that will cure that sweet tooth on owning
a fancy, gentle, broke ranch gelding. He is by indisputably the nicest sire to
ever walk the planet, Metallic Cat, who had a very successful show career
earning $637,711 NCHA and has produced offspring that have earned more than $54
million and counting. It’s absolutely no mistake Prime checks all the boxes when it comes
to a performance horse. His dam is an own daughter of CJ Sugar Lena, earner of $180,503
NCHA. He was bred to eat up a cow the day he hit the ground. He complements his excep-
tional pedigree with an amazing disposition. He is a blue collar, working ranch horse with a
white-collar sophisticated presence. He has been used for all aspects of ranch work, includ-
ing but not limited to, doctoring wheat pasture cattle, dragging calves to the fi re at branding
time, working the gate to sort pairs, gathering cattle off of big, brushy sections, and loading
semis at shipping time. Prime is the go-to. He travels with complete grace, always gets complimented and aims to please.
He is a veteran. He travels extremely smooth in all of his gaits and very sure footed in all kinds of terrain. Not only have we
worked and made a living on him, we’ve also taken him on relaxing rides through the Palo Duro Canyon. He has been ridden
in groups and a majority of the time, out on his own. We can’t express how nice his ranch horse mannerisms are. Prime is
stout to the horn and reads cattle like the back of his hand. We believe he would be an exceptional candidate to take to the
ranch riding and ranch versatility classes. He stays gentle and broke with time off. His previous owner was a 74-year-old gentleman that started him from the ground up.
He’s not Choice or Select … he’s PRIME! We would love to show him before the sale. Prime stand 14.3HH tall and weighs 1300 lbs. He is square on each corner, keen
headed and blemish free. For more information call. Clay & Taylor Paige • Paige Horses LLC • 806-654-5490
27 CHANCLA
2015 Bay Mustang #15977534
Mare 14.0 HH
-old BLM Mustang bay mare from the coveted
Chancla is a 7-year
Chancla is a 7-year-old BLM Mustang bay mare from the coveted
Devils Garden HMA in CA. She stands 14HH tall and 14HH wide!
Chancla was the 2020 CA Extreme Mustang Makeover Horsemanship
Champion and Reserve Champion in the Freestyle, where she won over $4,000.
She was my random-draw mustang from the BLM for this competition. I have
been her only home and only trainer since picking her up wild from the BLM in
July of 2020. She is fully titled from the BLM and is issued a Bill Of Sale from the
Mustang Heritage Foundation in lieu of a typical title from BLM (equivalent value
and meaning). She has competed in multiple mustang competitions in 2021 with
top placings by multiple riders including children and beginners. She was the
El Rodeo Ranch Riders EXCA (Extreme Cowboy Association) 2021 Green Horse
Regional Champion winning a buckle. Chancla also placed Top Ten at the 2021 EXCA Extreme
Mustang Race at the National Championship in Glen Rose, TX. She has completed two American
Endurance Ride Conference Intro Endurance races in 2022 (one 12-mile and one 14-mile) with
exceptional vet scores. This mare can sit for weeks in a pen, pull her out, saddle up and go. Chanc-
la loves people and attention. Anyone can ride her regardless of skill level and she will pack them
on the trail with the smoothest of gaits or around the show arena. Her jog and lope are naturally
collected and balanced. She can turn it up too for those who like a bit more spice. Chancla will
adapt to her rider and is very aware of her person at all times. She is great to pony young horses
off of or give confi dence to the skittish horse. She has big, hard mustang feet and is perfect for the
farrier every time. She can go over obstacles, drag anything, throw a rope off her, open gates from
any direction, jump or anything you want to try, she is game. She can lay down at liberty on cue,
sits up and will smile too! Chancla has a small umbilical hernia and a small bump on her back/spine – both are cosmetic and don’t
bother her. Please call. Amber Espinoza • Isidro Espinoza Horsemanship LLC • 760-981-3018
