They don’t come much cooler than this cowboy looking Bay Roan! Wade is
just an all-around great gelding. You won’t find one more gentle, tolerant,
or sweeter. He gets an A+ in all areas. Wade is very versatile whether
you want to work cows, rope, rein, arena ride, ranch or trail ride. He’s a
one-stop-shop that can do anything you want to horseback. He’s a gentle old soul that
is very mature and wise beyond his years. Wade has a nice reining foundation with great
lead departures, solid spins, a rocking chair lope, and a deep stop. He will change leads,
side pass, and has nice gait transitions. Wade has worked lots of cattle in the arena and
on the ranch. He’s handy for gathering herds in big pastures, sorting in the pens, and will
box one in the arena. He has a lot of natural cow sense that is bred into him and training
in reined cowhorse. Wade has been roped in the pasture and in the arena. He’s pretty
solid on the heel side, great in the box and gives you a nice, easy shot. Wade’s best
characteristic is his demeanor. He’s absolutely the sweetest, loving, and kindest gelding.
He wouldn’t hurt a fly and wants to do no wrong. You cannot upset him, startle him, or scare him in anyway. He’s nearly bombproof and carefree. He’s naturally been like this from
the beginning. Flying tarps, heavy machinery, gunfire, busy traffic, bicycles, motorcycles, buffalo, pigs, wild dogs, wildlife, etc. do not faze him. Wade is ideal to trail ride and pleasure
ride. He has great confidence and is very brave. He’s sure footed, will go right where you point him, and walks nicely on a loose rein. Wade is 100% gentle and safe for any level of
rider, big or small, young or old and he will take care of you. If safety is a priority, he will be the one you can trust. If you can hold his reins you will be able to ride him. Wade is such
a cool looking horse. Standing 15 hands and built to last a lifetime with balanced conformation and heavy bone. His bay roan color is just a bonus that is sought after in the western
world and makes him look the part of a cowboy’s horse, although you definitely don’t have to be a cowboy to ride him. Wade is the perfect horse for a first-time horse owner that is
learning the ropes, yet has the talent, ability, and is so versatile to be a great partner for a veteran horseman that just doesn’t want to deal with any problems. Wade is sired by One
