Mr. Perfect, Mr. Right, Mr. Big Time – he goes by the handle, Shan-
non! He’s an absolutely charming son of METALLIC CAT! Look no
further than SHANNON! He is an absolute stand-out, CONSISTENT,
CHARISMATIC, GORGEOUS, and extremely TALENTED redhead! This
son of the infamous multi-million-dollar producer METALLIC CAT and
by the great mare SHORT A SHAY (LTE 175K and PE over $282K), by SHORTY
LENA, is an all-around in the arena and universal outside the arena. Eligible for the
RIATA BUCKLE and ROYAL CROWN FUTURITIES! Shannon is an NCHA money
earner who is well-trained in and out of the arena! Shannon is naturally lev-
el-headed and lopes beautifully collected circles on a draped rein. He has excellent
direction and guides right where you point him. We appreciate that Shannon is
forgiving and rides to the speed and level of his rider, which is essential for a nov-
ice-friendly horse. Talk about a fabulous Cowhorse and a Versatility ranch horse;
he steals the show! He is diversified as he has also been ridden entirely in English and is captivating! Ridden trails from Montana to Arizona; he is so enjoyable out on the
trails and backcountry riding. An enjoyable horse on the trails, he enjoys a leisurely cruise through the desert and is confident alone or will lead or follow a group. The city
streets with busy cars, bikes, and pedestrians are acceptable for this confident gelding. Blowing tarps, packs of dogs, large machinery, and buffalo is no problem. Patient
and kind every day, Shannon has a huge personality and will keep a smile on your face. He knows a few tricks, too; he will kneel and curbside to mount. We have used
and depended on him for a little bit of everything. He is smooth to ride at all gaits and knows where his feet are in rough terrain. All aspects of the ranch., you can rope,
drag, brand, open every gate, sort pairs, gather cattle, and enjoy the day working while in the saddle. Ropers- here is your guy for the Riata Buckle roping’s! He is making
a simple-to-handle and neat switch-end rope and breakaway horse- with a lot of style and finesse across the pen! He has a lot of eye appeal on a cow and buffalo and is
SO cool across the pen. He is a weekend warrior, non-pro and amateur-friendly to show! Team penners and sorters, you’ll leave the pen smiling and petting him every
time! Shannon is always accessible and gentle to saddle even with time off. Shannon is always a sweetheart to be around, with a kind eye and one you’ll fall in love with
repeatedly. He has correct, balanced conformation and is built like a tank; he is a perfect size for longevity. Seasoned and easy to haul, he gets along great in the barn and
turns out with other horses. He has passed all sale requirements Sound and UTD on worming, dental and farrier. Shannon will be sold at Ride the Wave, Premier Horse
Sale, March 29th and30th in Ocala Florida. We are proud to offer him to you and would love to schedule a time for you to come and meet Shannon for yourself. We will
