Arlo is a big, beautiful, gentle gelding with eye appeal, personality, and
training for days! He is 16.3 hands of beautiful dapple gray coloring,
straight and correct legs, excellent proportions, and a cute head with
big doe eyes. If the eyes are the window to the soul, Arlo has much
more than his 7 years of wisdom shining out. Arlo has done just about everything
that a horse can do. He’s done all the ranch work including dragging calves, doc-
toring cows, gathering pastures, and sorting alleys. Arlo may be big but he can put
any catty Quarter Horse to shame when it comes to working in tight areas penning
back cattle at the sale barn and you won’t find a gate that Arlo wouldn’t side-pass up
to! Arlo is no slouch when it comes to the English side of things either. He has done
several show jumping courses, some cross-country style jumps, and even done a bit
of dressage. His movement is beautiful and he has a big upward canter that dreams
are made of and goals are achieved with! He will side-pass up to the fence, mounting block, fender of the trailer or pickup for easy mounting! Arlo will even lay down! He
is happy to play with the tarp, pack the flag, push the ball, or pull the sled with a dog snagging a ride. Arlo is easy to shoe, excellent to catch, will stand tied all day, and will
load in any trailer – even ones he doesn’t quite fit in! Arlo completes haunch and forehand turns as well as backs out with ease. Arlo is truly one of a kind in every way! Arlo
is registered with the Friesian Heritage Horse and Sport horse International. He is 50% Friesian, 25% Quarter Horse and 25% Percheron. Arlo is UTD on dental, vaccinations,
