9 CHILI PEPPER Grade
Molly
Bay
15.1 HH Year Born: 2017
Meet the prettiest 2017 Bay molly mule in the country – Chili Pep-
per. Chili Pepper is a mule that we have done a bit of everything on.
We’ve ranched on her, sorted on her, and used her in the branding
pen. She has also seen her fair share of miles in the mountains both riding and
packing. Chili Pepper is gentle and will stay that way. She will ride around and has
a nice one hand neck rein. We have owned Chili Pepper since she was a two-year-
old and she’s been a pleasure every day. We are proud to offer her at the Chrome
in the Canyon Premier Mule Sale. She is one the nicest mules we have ever owned.

10 MAYBELL NASMDA
Bay Roan
Molly
15.1 HH Year Born: 2018
We are offering a beautiful 6-year-old Bay Roan molly mule named
Maybell. She is registered in the NASMA. She stands 15.1 HH and
she is a big boned, stout mule that has good feet and confirmation.
She was born in the rough country by Yates, New Mexico on a ranch that was
homesteaded in the 1880’s. They have been raising and using mules on the ranch
for a long time. Her dam is a Red Roan grade mare that they used on the ranch.
Her sire is Dun It Again, whom we own. Maybell was sent to us in Nov. 2022 to
continue her training. Our farrier said Maybell is one of the best standing mules he
has ever trimmed. She loads on the trailer easily – open the door and she jumps
in. She has been ridden and packed in the Colorado mountains for hunting season.
We have taken her to the NWSS in January 2023 and 2024. In 2023 NWSS she
was entered into obstacle competitions and the costume event. We have ridden her
in rough country moving cows to the summer pasture. She crosses water, goes
over logs, through the aspen trees, handles the rocky terrain very well. Maybell
works off leg pressure and is starting to one hand neck rein. She has a decent stop
and backs up well. She is very easy to catch, she will come up to you in the pas-
ture or the corral. She trots diagonals, side passes, pulls logs, and a heavy arena
drag. She is good around a rope – you can catch each foot into your loop. We have
worked her on a mechanical cow, followed a roping dummy that was pulled by a
4-wheeler, while we roped the back feet. She is good with tarps all over her body.
She ground ties and will pick you up from off a fence, trailer, mounting block, even
the tailgate of a pickup. We pop a whip off her and has been in a mounted shooting
contest. We have even stood up on her while swinging a rope. We have given May-
bell a solid foundation that she will be able to go onto any variety of disciplines.
Please call, text or email for any more pictures, videos or questions about Maybell.
