11 HONDO ADMS
Palomino
John
15.0 HH Year Born: 2014
Hondo is a 10-year-old, beautiful, Palomino Quarter Horse type
john mule. He stands 15 HH and weighs 1100 pounds. Hondo
loves attention and is a in your pocket type of mule. He has a
nice handle and a really smooth lope. He goes out in a group or rides off quiet by
himself. Hondo has been used for mountain trail riding, working cows, hunting,
and packing. We have ridden and packed him in the rough country of northwest
Montana near the continental divide. I have also competed on him in the local
Omoksee’s and gathered and branded cattle on neighboring ranches. Hondo has
been a safe mount for my young sons and a reliable ranch and hunting mule for
me. He will lead the pack string or pack anything including meat. Hondo has no
ear issues, bridles without problems and loves a good scratch. He is good for
the farrier, loads right up and hauls quietly. Ride him bareback and in a halter or
saddle him up and take him in a parade. Hondo is an exceptional all-around mule
the whole family will enjoy! For more information or to come try him at home in
Whitehall, Montana or at Bryce Canyon Mule Days during sale week, call Mike.

12 SWEET CAROLINE Grade
Sorrel
Molly
15.2 HH Year Born: 2016
Sweet Caroline is just as her name indicates – SWEET. Caroline has
been ridden and trained steadily for the past 2 years. She has had a
lot of trail miles is some of Utah’s most beautiful country. She has
trained tremendously and accepts challenges and obstacles with ease. She stands
quiet for the farrier, trailers well, and loves to be clipped, groomed, and pampered.
She is good with her ears and easy to bridle, saddle and to get on. She is trained to
a mounting step for those who may need one. She is easy to catch and will meet
you at the gate. On rare occasions she will do a double take as mules do at things
but soon realizes it is harmless and continues on her way. She has been ridden by
beginning riders and babysits with confidence. She is young and has many more
great years ahead of her and will make a great partner as you enjoy her compan-
ionship. Caroline rides alone or with company and really doesn’t care if she is the
first mule or the last mule in a group, she just carries on. Sweet Caroline is just
that, SWEET and gentle and love attention. You can bid with confidence knowing
that you will love this mule and be able to enjoy her for many years to come.
