Meet XANGO PICCOLO DEPISA, a 2016 AQHA Bay Stallion that
is AQHA Appendix Registered. He is a multiskilled, fan-favorite
stallion who turns heads with his stunning dark coat and beautiful
long flowing mane and tail. A gentle giant, Piccolo aims to please
with his wonderful personality, perfect manners, and gentle-
man-like behavior around the ladies! Piccolo is patient, forgiving, family-friend-
ly, and easily adjusts to any rider and skill level. Although Piccolo looks like a
movie star, standing 16 HH, he is a humble horse - kind, gentle, and easygo-
ing. Piccolo is a true performer and crowd pleaser, used to bright lights, big crowds, and
loud noises as he has been a flag horse in several South Texas PRCA rodeos. He is also
a showstopper in events such as mounted shooting, breakaway roping, barrels, poles,
and goat tying. Piccolo has had speed training; however, for the past several years, his
training has focused on being an all-around horse. So, he enjoys working cows, being
roped off, ponying colts, and going on trail rides. Piccolo is great with saddling, vet
checks, farrier work, bathing, and hauling. He does not spook, walks over obstacles, and
is safe even for the youngest rider. Piccolo is smooth at all gaits: walk, trot, lope, and
stops on a dime. Truly a comfort to ride! With his demeanor, talent, and willingness to
learn, he could easily be trained in whichever discipline you please! XANGO PICCOLO
DEPISA is the appendix (Thoroughbred x Quarter Horse) grandson of SPECIAL LEADER, who sired 57 stakes winners with
earnings over $11.9 million, and grandson to legendary racehorse PYC PAINT YOUR WAGON, who has sired earners of more
than $35.4 million. In addition, Piccolo is the great-grandson of CORONA CARTEL, MR JESS PERRY, and DASHIN FOLLIES. His pedigree on both sides is nothing
less than stellar. Piccolo would be a great asset to any riding or breeding program (live cover and trained for AI). He is an easy keeper and good with riders of all
ages and riding levels - he can be smooth and easy or turn up the speed when needed. Piccolo is up to date with his vaccinations and current on Coggins. He is
