Lot 5
What a bull to kick off the footnotes! Lot 5 bred cows for us this summer and stayed with the herd until
mid-November, holding his flesh exceptionally well. He’s a larger-framed bull with extra length of body
and excellent muscle expression, inherited from his well-proven sire, IPU Red Zone 82Y. His dam is my
favorite red cow—consistently producing standouts regardless of the mating. At 12 years old, she’s
extremely easy-fleshing, good-footed, sound-uddered, and always breeds back first-cycle AI. We plan to
collect this bull after the sale. He’s a high-performance bull with the potential to sire some outstanding Dam to Lot 5
daughters!

We were fortunate to acquire some semen from the highly sought-after MRLA
Resource 137E, whose semen is both rare and valuable. While we only had a couple
Red MRLA Resource 137E, Sire to Lot 14 of bull calves, we’re excited about the nice group of daughters in the bred pen—they
have a super fancy look and added power, especially when mated to our Simmental
females. Lot 14 is a clean-fronted, extra-long-bodied bull that traces back to a TNT Top
Gun R244 female.
