Lot 46
This is my daughter Brekka’s bull, and he’s one of the biggest volume bulls
in the sale. He’s out of a powerful young cow we purchased as a heifer from
Sunny Valley Simmentals in Canada. She was our pick of their heifer offering,
and she has exceeded our expectations. There’s a lot of power behind this fe-
male, and it’s clearly evident when you analyze this bull. His sire is the highly
proven Bieber Atomic C218, and we were fortunate to acquire a few straws of Lot 46 Dam to Lot 46
his semen. Lot 46 ranks in the top 25% of the breed for WW and the top 30%
for YW and MCE. His weaning weight would have been even higher, but his dam kindly fostered a heifer calf to weaning after its mother passed away two weeks post-birth.

Another big-framed, high-growth bull who ratioed a 102 for weaning weight. He was
Dam to Lot 47 a powerhouse on pasture this summer, always making his presence known. While we
only had a couple of sons this year, we’ll have more next year. We were fortunate to
purchase semen from Kunkel Simmentals, who owns the sire. He consistently adds
significant growth and frame. Repeat buyers Jordan Jenner and Todd Krogedal have
both purchased maternal brothers.
