27 CLAUDETTE Grade

13.2 HH Year Born: 2014
Claudette is a paint cross mule that is Bay with stockings. She is
11 years old, stands 13.2 HH and weighs 980 lbs. She will fit most
any rider that at least knows the basics of riding. She is a free
moving mule and has no quit in her. When you ride her, you don’t
have to do a lot of kicking. She is broke extremely nice in the bridle, in other words
she maneuvers great! She will go through whatever you ask her to go through
with no hesitation. No mountain is too tall and no valley is too deep for her. She
crosses rocks, bogs and logs. She is good to halter, bridle, shoe, clip, stands tied,
loads in trailer, easy to haul, good at the vet, easy to worm andshe gets along well
with other equine. She will have a brand-new Coggins test, be vaccinated, have
had her teeth floated and be walking on a new set of shoes at Tropic. Our client,
the previous owner, had owned her for 4 years and had used her mostly for coon
hunting. She rides at night, you can lead dogs off her, rides great in the woods,
rides off by herself and is not spooky at all. He also used her for squirrel hunting
and trail riding. He has literally rested his 22 on her neck and shot right beside her
head with no problems. We have owned her for 8 months now. We have used her
on the ranch, taken her all over Texas and Arkansas on big and long trail rides. She
will ride anywhere in the group but loves to lead. She will neck rein and walk, trot
and lope on cue. She is great at obstacles. We have also used her at many mule
shows and mule rodeos. She is a fast and athletic little booger when you need her
to be. We also have used her for giving lessons and for guest trail rides. Feel free

28 SIERRA Grade

Sierra is a simply stunning Sorrel roan molly mule. She is con-
formationally correct, has a kind eye, babydoll head, big hip and
matching stocking legs. Sierra is in her prime at 12 years of age
and the ideal size standing 14 HH. Sierra is very well broke with an
honest one hand neck rein and fancy handle. She is very smooth and comfortable
ride with a pillow soft way of traveling. She is soft, supple and responsive to riders
ques. Sierra’s fancy handle makes any task easy and enjoyable. She is well broke
and stays that way. Sierra has been used in all phases of ranch work; from gath-
ering cattle, sorting pairs, loading trucks and other ranch tasks and is excellent in
every aspect. She is also a steadfast trail partner as well. She has been ridden in all
types of country from the grasslands to the mountains and everywhere in between.
She can handle rough terrain, will cross all obstacles and take complete care of
her rider in any situation. Sierra is a “tried and true” partner on the trails. She will
stand still to mount and has wonderful ground manners. Sierra is a joy to own and
