                                                               Are you looking for that golden ticket to take you places you’ve al-
                                                               ways wanted to go? Look no farther, meet Sancho. He is a stunning
                                                               golden Palomino john mule that has a sweet and gentle personality.
                                                               Sancho is 5 years old and at a nice height of 15 HH with a stout
                                                               build. We had the pleasure to do all the training with owning him since he was 2
                                                               years old. He comes from the famous Rafter CF breeding program in Iowa. The
                                                               sire of Sancho is Copyright’s Infrenchment and the dam is an AQHA mare, How D
                                                               Skip N Queen. Sancho’s gentle and calm demeanor along with his training makes
                                                               him suitable for many levels of riders or coachman. Yes, you read it correctly, not
                                                               only is he very well trained to ride English and Western, but he is also trained to
                                                               pull a cart by himself or with a teammate. We have trailered Sancho many miles to
                                                               different environments such as Ranch Rodeo competitions where we would rope,
                                                               sort, and doctor calves, we hauled him to go trail ride in all kinds of terrain for the
                                                               weekend, we have hauled to mule shows and competed in many events, we have
                                                               even used him to help round up wild ponies in the mountains of Virginia. With all
                                                               his experience out on the trails, Sancho is steady going up and down hills, over
                                                               logs, and through water. He is very willing to try new obstacles whether it is out on
                                                               trails or in a competition. We have ridden and driven him out on busy roads where
                                                               we live and traffic doesn’t bother him. Sancho has a really smooth walk, trot, and
                                                               lope both in the arena or out in the open. He knows his leads, moves off leg cues,
                                                               and has a nice stop. We use Sancho in our training program to start colts and to
                                                               work with problem equine. He stays calm, quiet and understands his job. Sancho
                                                               is easy to catch out in the pasture and gets along well with others. He loads and
        backs off a trailer with ease. He is good for the vet, farrier, bathing, clipping, and grooming. Sancho has been Leon’s personal mule for the last three years and grown be
