45 FERGIE Grade
Molly
Sorrel
15.3 HH Year Born: 2020
Fergie is a light Sorrel molly mule with a flaxen mane and tail. She
is 5 years old, stands 15.3 HH and weighs 1118lbs. She has a big
ole soft eye and a quiet demeanor. She is out of a nice competition
type QH mare and a well-known jack in Montana. She has had only
kind treatment since she was born. She was started slow and easy and loves peo-
ple. She will meet you wherever you are, because she loves attention. She has a
very classy look and would make a super nice show mule. She is soft in the bridle
and super willing. She is very smooth in her gaits. She takes both leads and rides
between the reins and your legs. We have taken her to All Mule Rodeos, to the
National Championship Chuckwagon Races and to big trail rides for experience.
She is easy to catch, halter, bath, bridle, saddle, ride, load and haul. She will have a
new Negative Coggins test, a new set of shoes, have her vaccinations and her teeth
floated, when we arrive in Tropic. This is spectacular young mule. You really can’t
go wrong with her. For more info, videos and pics, call Jennifer.

Brown/Black
John
13.2 HH Year Born: 2013
Fergus is a fancy 12-year-old john mule with a huge heart. He is
a lot of mule squeezed into a little body, but don’t let his 13.2 HH
fool you. He can easily and safely pack an adult sized rider all day
on steep and rugged trails. He is quiet and sensible on the trail and
does not tend to spook. He will carefully cross any bridge and any type of water,
wide or narrow, rushing or deep. He negotiates rough and rocky terrain with ease
and without jumping or tripping. He is used to and very tolerant of dogs. He has
been on trail rides in the Eagle Cap Wilderness of Northeast Oregon, coon hunted
countless nights in the Midwest and has been trail rode in the canyons of Southern
Utah including Kodachrome National Park. Fergus is a nice mover and knows all
the basics in the arena. You can swing a rope and drag a log or hack over jumps
in an English saddle. He is easy to ride and handle and has a good neck rein in the
bridle. He is safe and patient on the ground for children and small adults and does
not have typical mule manners. He will also carry any type of pack outfit, including
hard boxes, without a fuss. We have taken Fergus out on the trail by himself, and
he does just fine on his own. He loads right up in any trailer and you will hardly
notice he is there. He is good for the farrier, good for clipping and bathing and is
up to date on dental, vaccinations, deworming and hoof care. He is easy to bridle,
even for shorter riders. He is ready for your next adventure with a current Coggins
and a fresh set of shoes. For more information, to meet Fergus here at our ranch
or ride him during mule days, contact Pam Fournier.
