Otis is a cute little Bay john mule. He is 14 years old, 13.2 HH and
weighs 885 lbs. He has a really pretty head and good conforma-
tion. He is a little, compact mule that is great for hunting. He has
been used hog hunting and squirrel hunting and has been shot off
of. He is also great for just trail riding in the woods. He has been ridden hundreds
of miles in the woods. He has been taken to big wagon rides and Chuckwagon
races. We have also taken him to all mule rodeos and other events. He has been a
family mule most of his life. He does ride and drive. He has been driven single by
all age of people. He has also been ridden by all ages of people. He loves to please
you in every way. He will, walk trot and lope on cue. He has a good neck rein. He
is safe to be around on the ground. You can catch, halter, bridle, saddle, harness,
bath, clip, load, haul, ride, and shoe him with the greatest of ease. He is good at
the vet, too. He is a very willing mule to ride and drive. You don’t have to make him
do anything. He has been ridden bareback and double by the kiddos. He is great in
any type of terrain and good around dogs. He has been ridden day and night and
put in all kinds of crazy scenarios and situations. As he has been a great family
mule for us, our family knows your family will be happy with this nice little mule.
He will be freshly shod, have a new Coggins, have had his shots and his teeth
floated when we arrive with him in Tropic. For more info pics and videos, please

38 ROSE Red Roan ADMS
Molly
15.2 HH Year Born: 2016
Rose is a big, stout, 9-year-old molly mule who is a true Red Roan.
She is out of an AQHA mare and by Texas Wrangler, a son of the
great Scooters Choice and a grandson of Texas Scooter. She is a
good sized, substantially built molly at over 15 and a half HH and
about 1100 pounds. She is all business and is solid and reliable on the trail. She is
very cowy and would be an asset to any ranch. She will cross anything on the trail
– water, bridges, rocky ground or deadfall, and is careful and steady. She will walk
at whatever speed you ask. She loads and hauls good, is good for the farrier, good
for baths, good about her ears and good for clipping. Rose has a horse-like handle
with a nice lope, a great turn around and a good stop. She knows her leads and leg
cues and neck reins well. She was started by an Amish trainer as a 2-year-old and
we continued her training as a 3-year-old and onward. We sold her to a gentleman
about 3 or 4 years ago who used her at horse shows, for trail riding and to move
cattle. Unfortunately, he was no longer able to ride for health reasons and we were
happy to be able to buy her back early last year. We have expanded her experience,
using her for elk hunting and trail riding in Eastern Oregon and the Salmon River
Country of Idaho and in the canyon country of Southern Utah. She has proven her-
self as a reliable and brave trail mule, even after many months off due to no fault
of her own. Rose would be a great mule for a serious trail rider or hunter. Like
most mules, the more you use her, the better she gets. If you have a job to do with
your mule or just want to cover some country, Rose would be a good choice. She
is up to date on dental, vaccinations, deworming and hoof care. She has a current
Coggins and a new set of shoes. Come try her at our ranch or during sale week at
Bryce Canyon Mule Days. For more information contact Pam Fournier.
