King James – the name says it all! The fi rst thing you notice is,
of course, the phenotype. There is so much rear quarter, depth
and capacity it’s hard to notice that there is abundant length as
well. The straight broad top leads to tremendous spring of rib
and a broad and deep chest fl oor. He strides out nice and easy
with no restriction on movement. The performance is second to
none, with a nice moderate BW followed by outstanding growth.
He posts the #2 adjusted WW of the GMRA bulls and a WR that
is tied for #4 in the offering. This lends to an ADG ratio of 106
and a WDA of 111. His carcass scans were excellent with the
#3 actual REA, adjusting to the #1 REA in the class, resulting in

Absolutely outstanding with an impressive 15 numbers in the
top 25% of the breed or higher! Indices and maternal numbers
blend with the impressive performance, while all carcass EPDs
rank in the top 16% or higher. He is a curve-bender with a BW
EPD in the top 24% and WW in the top 14%. His HPG is tied
for #3 in the class and he has the #2 YG and REA EPDs. His
Lot 1 dam is a true Matriarch at GMRA with an MPPA of 103 on 8
calves. His great grandam is the well-known Estonia 8102 cow
1 GMRA KING JAMES 0272H that produced such greats as GMRA EBV 266. The straight
maternal line is full of performance, with MPPAs of 100+ going

Our DDRA Venice 4003 has produced another standout bull.
Her Union 05C bull calf topped the sale last year and this
year has an outstanding Brunswick calf. 4003 is a 6-year-old,
moderate framed Peacemaker daughter that has clean feet and
legs and a perfect udder. She consistently produces above
average calves and readily breeds back in the front of the herd.
Additionally, she is one of the quietest cows we own. This quiet
disposition is passed on to her offspring, as evidenced when
you move around this bull out in the feed-yard. 005 has herd
bull potential. He is moderate framed with extra thickness. Phe-
notypically he is very correct in leg shape, hoof structure and
moves freely about. He has a very smooth head shape and top
line. Boasting 12 EPDs in the top 17% of the breed he offers
loads of maternal qualities along with good growth and carcass
traits to his offspring. Personal performance is all there with an
ADG ratio of 104 and a WDA of 102. Carcass scans turned in
an IMF ratio of 118 and REA of 106. Bowman is complete and
is a true stand out in every aspect.
