You can pretty much take what was said for Lot 48 and apply it here! The dif-
ference is that Lot 51 is backed by a Playbook daughter. These females have
quickly become some of the best young black cows we own, and it’s no secret
why TEX Playbook semen has become so hard to find. You’ll see many more
sons backed by these cows in next year’s sale. Lot 51’s granddam is also an
exceptional cow and would have produced one of the best black bulls in the Granddam to Lot 51 TEX Playbook 5437, MGS to Lot 51
sale if not for an injury he sustained this summer on pasture. Lot 51 weaned
at an impressive 824 pounds off a first-calf heifer! He ranks in the top 25% or
better for WW, YW, ADG, MCE, MILK, MWW, STAY, CW, REA, and TI, and in
the top 35% for API.
